Sure is windy out there!!

Well we are hunkering down and sitting out our first hurricane. Hopefully we are far north enough that we are really only worried about loosing power. Right now the wind is picking up and its sprinkling on and off. The pictures on the news of Galveston and surrounding areas are crazy. My back yard looking incredibly bear, the girls have beds down stairs and are sleeping in our room, we have tons of water, flashlights, food etc so i think we are ready.

Brynnan was pretty upset when we starting taking all her toys out of the backyard and took her door off of her playhouse on the swing set. We explained to her what a hurricane was and that it was called Ike. So now she is walking around saying that Ike is going to blow all her toys away. She isnt sad anymore, i actually think she is pumped. Im glad one of us is excited.

My family is getting frustrated because i wont let them go near the pantry. Anything that has been eaten today has come from the fridge or freezer. I am hoping to not loose to much food. Chris brought home a few coolers of ice to put some of the stuff on when needed. But tomorrow for breakfast we will be having either frozen waffles, pancakes, or cinamon rolls. Must eat cold stuff first :).

Everyone has had thier shower and i cleaned the house today. What? If i am going to be stuck in a house for a while its going to be a clean house.
